Photo Quilts can be as large or small as you want or need. We can create something that lays
across the back of a sofa or across a bed, up to king size spreads. The usual layout of a photo quilt is a 12"
square with 2"-3" stripping in between and a border. We can include corner stones if you like, and finish
with a border, usually the same color(s) as the stripping and or cornerstones. We prefer that you choose your fabrics
for borders, stripping and cornerstones and include them with your photos when shipping. We have taken orders where
we choose the fabrics, but we prefer not to do that. The table to the right shows approximate charges for creating your photo
quilt. These prices are only good if you furnish your fabric. We cannot estimate the cost of any fabric
in a pricing chart.
We do not damage your photo(s) in any way. We will scan the photo, crop it, focus, clean
it up, print, iron and place it in the quilt. The original comes back to you exactly the way you sent it to us.

To help offset the cost of photos, many people purchase a coordinating fabric and leave some of the squares blank. In
other words, a twin quilt requiring 20 squares, could be made with 10 photos and 10 squares of a floral fabric.. Also, photos
look best on 12" squares, however to use less photos but not lose size, the squares can be as large as 16" for photo
and blank squares requiring less squares per quilt. Another technique for holding down cost of photos,is to make several large
borders out of fabric used in the quilt and then coordinating fabric as well.
